Sheryl R. Jackson, PhD.
Dr. Sheryl Jackson received her PhD in clinical psychology from LSU in 1994. She is a former Associate Professor and Director of the Anxiety and OCD Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. While at UAB she was the Internship Training Director as well as the Assistant Training Director for the Psychiatry Residency Program.
Dr. Sheryl Jackson specialized in the treatment of Anxiety, OCD, OC Spectrum, and Mood Disorders. She generally uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which has established itself as one of the most effective treatments for these concerns.
She is also available for consultation or speaking engagements regarding these or related topics. She is also available for pre-surgical evaluations for various medical concerns.
Warren T. Jackson, PhD, ABPP-CN (Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology) Dr. Warren Jackson received his PhD in clinical psychology from LSU in 1994. He completed two years of post-doctoral specialization in Neuropsychology and is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology.
He is a former Associate Professor and Director of Psychological Services at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. His practice includes general psychotherapy and rehabilitation neuropsychology. He also has expertise with Veterans and dependency issues.
Dr. Warren Jackson is available for psychotherapy as well as psychological and neuropsychological evaluations as well as professional competency evaluations. He conducts assessments of adults (ages 16 and up) for memory, attention, and learning concerns.
He has worked extensively with undergraduate institutions, medical boards, bar associations, nursing boards, and similar to achieve appropriate accomodations as well as to determine competency.
Beth K. Lusby, Ph.D.
Dr. Beth Lusby is not formally part of Consulting Psychologists, but is located in the same office suite. She is the Director of the Cornerstone Assessment and Guidance Center. Dr. Lusby received her PhD from the University of Louisville in 1994. She received post doctoral training at UTMB-Houston. She specializes in the assessment and testing of children for learning, attention, memory, and educational concerns. She has additional expertise with gifted/talented evaluations as well as multiple birth issues.
She also conducts therapy with adolescents/adults concerning developmental disorders (e.g. Asperger's) and brain injury.
